These terms apply to your use of the Sunshine Kids website (sunshinekidsetobicoke.ca) and to the forms, messages and other communications you receive from us through it. Sunshine Kids (“we”, “us”) operates a licensed child care centre at 1 Westside Dr, Unit 8A, Etobicoke, Ontario. By using this website you agree to these terms.

Information on this website

We work to keep program details, fees, hours and availability on this site accurate and current, but they can change without notice. The website is general information only. Your signed enrolment agreement, our current fee schedule and our Parent Handbook are what apply to your child’s care, and they take priority over anything on this site.

Tours, waitlist and enrolment

• Requesting a tour or joining our waitlist does not reserve or guarantee a space.
• A space is confirmed only when we offer it to you, you accept it, the registration paperwork is complete and any required deposit or fees are paid.
• Enrolment is subject to our policies and to Ontario’s child care requirements, including the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014.

Camp registrations

Submitting a March Break or Summer Camp form is a registration request. Your child’s spot is confirmed once we contact you and payment is received. Camp dates, activities and pricing are described on each camp page and may change. If we must cancel a camp, we will refund any amount you paid for it.

Text messages and emails

When you give us your phone number or email through a form, our waitlist or in person, you agree that we may contact you by text message, phone and email about your enquiry, tours, the waitlist, enrolment, camps and centre updates.

• Message frequency varies. For example, families on our waitlist may receive a follow-up about every two weeks.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
• Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also unsubscribe from emails using the link in the email, or contact us directly.
• Agreeing to receive messages is not a condition of touring or enrolling.
• We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing.

Our content

The text, photos, logos and other content on this site belong to Sunshine Kids or are used with permission. Please don’t copy or reuse them without our written permission. Photos of children appear only with their parent or guardian’s consent.

Other websites

This site links to services run by others, such as our online waitlist and registration (HiMama), Google Maps, Facebook and Instagram. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for their content.

Liability

This website is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Sunshine Kids is not responsible for any loss arising from your use of this website or from relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.

Privacy

How we collect and use personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
